Largest rescue vessel at TAMSEN MARITIM

Measuring 46m, Hermann Marwede is the largest ship of the GMRS within a fleet of 60 ships and boats. She is amongst the most modern vessels of her kind. The ship is stationed in Helgoland.

TAMSEN MARITIM hosted the rescue vessel during three months for maintenance and modernisation works as well as for the conversion of the lifting system for the daughter boat.

The work comprised also a technical update of different operating systems so that the ship which was built by Fassmer shipyard in 2003 was implemented by state-of-the-art technology. The main taks was to integrate the new fast rigid inflatable boat.

We wish the crew of Hermann Marwede always a safe journey and good luck with their difficult job in the North Sea.
